Located on the southwest corner of McLaren-Greater Lansing's Greenlawn campus (2721 S. Washington Avenue), the McRee Guest House is a beautiful 14-bedroom "home away from home" specifically for the lodging of relatives of Ingham patients. The cost is $40 per night (assistance can be provided if special financial arrangements are needed). Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis and include:

It's like a "home away from home". There are 14 guest rooms with private baths and phones. The kitchen is available for guests to use. There's always coffee brewing, and freshly-baked cookies. Wireless Internet access is available. Largely staffed by volunteers, there's always someone to talk to, who will listen and provide a good dose of comfort. It its 16-year history, McRee Guest House has served more than 20,000 guests from 75 Michigan counties, 42 states, and families from Korea, Australia, Europe, and India. Funds raised for McRee House by local Burger King restaurants have paid for 7,000 overnight stays for families unable to afford the minimum per-night fee.
